Cake decorating is a passion of mine. I love baking, decorating, and creating new desserts. I'm so blessed to be doing what I love.
My love for being in the kitchen started when I was young. I'm very blessed to have both parents that can cook amazing food. I loved watching them in the kitchen. Everything they do fascinates me. I started cooking for my family at a very young age.
I didn't come into cake baking and decorating until I had my own kids. First it was just baking them cakes for their birthdays. Then it gradually grew once my daughter started school. I begin making cakes and cupcakes for her class during Holidays and school events.
Sweet Creations by Sophie started on June 2010 when one of the teachers at school ordered cupcakes for Teacher Appreciation Day. The theme was Mad Hatter Tea Party. She was forwarding emails she received from other teachers saying how amazing and moist the cupcakes were. They not only looked great but tasted great as well.
Since then, Sweet Creations grew little by little. I love making cakes, cupcakes, and sweet desserts. But, I love meeting my clients more. They come up with such amazing ideas for their cake designs. What I love best is when they give me a free reign on their cakes. Cake decorating is such an exciting and rewarding job.
